Robin F. Harris

Harris, a longtime New York City newspaperman and a retired Hearst Corp. executive, died Tuesday in Atlanta of pneumonia. He was 87. In the 1970s, Harris was an executive assistant to the editor-in-chief for the Hearst Corp. He and his wife, the former Patricia Donnelly, who was Miss America in 1939, wrote a travel column for Hearst newspapers until two months ago. Harris also was a reporter for the New York Daily News, New York Times and New York Journal-American.
