The new SLIPKNOT bassist, who is featured in the band's just-released video for the song "The Devil In I", is believed to be Alessandro "Vman" Venturella, who has served as a guitar tech for MASTODON, FIGHTSTAR and COHEED AND CAMBRIA and was also a member of KROKODIL.

According to The Des Moines Register, a lawsuit filed by the widow of SLIPKNOT bassist Paul Gray against his former doctor has been dismissed.
Polk County District Judge Dennis Stovall ruled that Brenna Gray waited until after the two-year statute of limitations had run out before filing the lawsuit against Dr. Daniel Baldi.

According to DesMoinesRegister.com, the doctor who treated Paul Gray (pictured) in the days before the SLIPKNOT bassist's 2010 death was acquitted of seven counts of involuntary manslaughter.
