Receiving an unintentionally painful initiation by an iconic droid is as good an introduction as any to the obsessive world of sci-fi fandom.
Canadian actress Marie Avgeropoulos was at the massive San Diego Comic-Con International last year to promote the trippy CW sci-fi drama, The 100. While the show had yet to air, fans were already quizzing its young stars about plot points and characters.
“I’ve never seen anything like that in my life,” says Avgeropoulos, in a phone interview from her home in Los Angeles. “At one point R2-D2 rolled over... Read More

After what feels like the 100th variation on the same show, CW finally got it startlingly right. Granted, you could be forgiven if you are ready, sight unseen, to dismiss The 100 (* * * out of four) as yet another CW excuse to plant pretty young people in some sci-fi/fantasy universe where a battle between good and evil plays out behind their more essential efforts to hook up. “It’s very surprising,” Oh tells PEOPLE. “Hopefully it will make sense [to viewers]. After something as obliterating as the shooter comes in, when push comes to shove Owen says, ‘I want to spend my life with you.’ It’s almost... Read More

Set 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, when a spaceship housing humanity's lone survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth in hopes of possibly re-populating the planet.
Even if I`m playing a bad guy, I work hard to make him multi-leveled and interesting.
Race will fall away if you show the humanity of people.
Following a confrontation with fellow cast member Patrick Dempsey on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" (2005), it was reported that the altercation was related to Washington's use of the epithet "fag..." towards their co-star T.R. Knight. In response to press queries about the incident, he denied that accusation in the backstage area at the 2007 Golden Globe Awards. However, Knight and other cast members later stated that he did use the word (January 2007).
