Anthony Guy "Tony" Bennett (born June 1, 1969) is an American men's college basketball coach and head coach of the Virginia Cavaliers since March 31, 2009. The repeat 2014 and 2015 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Basketball Coach of the Year, at Washington State he won the Henry Iba Award and was honored as the Naismith College Coach of the Year and Rivals.com Coach of the Year in 2007. He was also the AP National Coach of the Year in 2007 and the national runner up in 2014. In 2015, he led Virginia to become just the third program in ACC history to have consecutive 30-win seasons, after Duke and North Carolina.
