Approximately Infinite Universe is a double album by Yoko Ono, released in early 1973. It represents a departure from the experimental avant garde rock of her first two albums towards a more conventional pop/rock sound, while also dabbling in feminist rock. It peaked at #193 in the United States. The 1997 CD re-issue on Rykodisc added two acoustic demos of songs from this era, that were later released on 1981's Season of Glass. It was released again, in 2007 by Rykodisc.

The Beatles were presented with a long-overdue Lifetime Achievement Award at a special pre-Grammy Special Merit Award ceremony held on Saturday afternoon.

Paul McCartney Says Yoko Ono Wasn’t Responsible for Breaking up the Beatles

For many years, there has been much speculation that John Lennon‘s wife, Yoko Ono, influenced the Beatles breakup, but Paul McCartney says that it’s not true and that the band was splitting regardless of Ono.

BRAD Pitt is reportedly set to play John Lennon in a biopic about the life of legendary singer-songwriter.
The actor, 47, met with Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono to discuss playing the role and she was impressed by his plans to learn to sing and master the Liverpool accent, consequently giving the project her “blessing”.
