  • Ian Ralph Tony Christie sang a song that I used to go to sleep to.... It was the best quality recording I owned. I have googled the words many times... eg "tonight I took a piece out of the sun, brought it to her shining..... she said 'don't bring me moon, I want stars' and I said alright, but I'll be gone a while coz it's quite far" etc. The message is.... love can bring gifts, but gifts can't bring love. Hope you can help me find this track and lyrics. Many thanks, Ian Ralph, Wellington, New Zealand 28 August 2013
